A weary young merchant came passing one day while searching for treasure, through a sodden marshland covered in thorns and weeds, but to his amazment from the water arose spires and cathedrals like he'd never seen before.

He left laden with silks for the people had plenty such a city as this he realised was better for him than the great treasure he lost.
